Based in Surbiton in Surrey, portrait photographer Gill Flett, is a highly experienced Newborn, Wedding, and Family photographer.
For the past 10 years, Gill has skilfully posed and photographed hundreds of tiny newborns and many sets of twins with their lovestruck parents. Whether it be in her home studio in Surbiton, Surrey or at her client's homes nearby.
Gill can effortlessly transition between photographing the tiny detail and fleeting smiles of a newborn in her home or in the home of a new parent in and around Surrey - then the following day, travelling to London to capturing the elegance of a beautiful wedding or grand Surrey country house.
She boasts (but not too much – she’s Scottish) over 20 years expertise in the art of storytelling wedding photography - offering coverage both in and around Surrey and London. Indeed, she is often asked to photograph weddings for past newborn clients who, having worked with her previously, are already comfortable with her - providing a personal and ongoing touch to their family's journey.
Family sessions are a must - they grow so fast! Gill adores being part of your growing family – from their infancy as newborns to seeing them grow past their parents. She is often booked to return to families she has photographed in the past as their wedding photographer or as their newborn’s photographer. Family lifestyle photography sessions are best photographed outdoors providing a relaxed quality to your portraits – capturing the personality of your growing family. Please feel free to bring your dog if you would like to include them - they are the best posers!
She adores animals and is very excited to hear about the inclusion of any pets in either weddings as 4-legged ring bearers or newborn and family photography assignments! (so far - many handsome dogs, a pet hedgehog, and a chicken!)
Gill is originally from Aberdeen in Scotland and lives with her husband, two girls and Cocker Spaniel in Surbiton, Surrey. Her background is in Editorial photography photographing celebrities and fashion – so no stiff posing and she’s very quick!
